Enrique O. Aragon

Enrique O. Aragón (born March 22, 1880 in Mexico City , † 1942 ) was a Mexican doctor and philosopher and briefly rector of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

biography

After attending the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP), Aragón studied at the Escuela Nacional de Medicina from 1898 to 1904 . He was professor for psychology and ethics at the Escuela Nacional de Altos Estudios (ENAE) and for medical technology and history as well as anatomy at the Escuela Nacional de Medicina. In 1907 he became secretary of the ENP and in 1910 at the ENAE. He specialized in the areas of neurology and psychiatry and was particularly concerned with experimental psychology. In 1932 he became director of the Faculty of Philosophy (formerly ENEA) of the UNAM, from October 27 to November 26, 1934 he was rector of the UNAM.
