After Kunststück and Hexenkessel , Sinnfonie is the third live album by the German medieval rock band Schandmaul . The album was released on April 24, 2009 as a double CD , double DVD Limited Edition (contains the double CD and the double DVD) and as a limited fan pack (contains three CDs and four DVDs). The album is represented in the German longplay charts. The DVD contains the complete concert from November 14, 2008 , which took place in front of 7,000 spectators at the Zenith in Munich to mark the ten-year anniversary of the band. The concert is only published in full on CD in a limited fan pack. The concert tour began on April 22nd, 2009 in Bern and ended on May 9th, 2009 in Regensburg .

The anniversary tour

The tour started in April 2009 in Bern and ended in May of the same year. Other venues were Zurich , Linz , Graz , Dresden , Erfurt , Wilhelmshaven , Cologne , Hamburg , Bielefeld , Stuttgart and Kaiserslautern .

Guest musician

Musicians from the bands Subway to Sally ( Ms. Schmitt / viola ) and Last Instance ( Muttis Stolz / violin and Benni Cellini / cello ) contributed to the CD production . Benni Pfeiffer, Marie Brandis and Caroline von Brünken also sang as a background choir for various songs.

criticism

On Monsters and Critics the album was described as very handsome. Even if the sound and image carriers only use old material, the DVD is indispensable for every fan of the band. In addition, according to Monsters and Critics, the album is not only suitable for long-time Schandmaul fans, but also for newbies .

laut.de, on the other hand, described the album as boring, as the band is onlytrying to freshen upthe laundry in the opinion of the critic. The critic wrote about the DVD that Anna-Katharina Kränzlein and Birgit Muggenthaler may be gawking around well,but that the stupid deja-vu is retained.
