Stöcken is a district of the city of Wittingen in the district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony .
geography
The place is northwest of the core area of Wittingen.
The Elbe Lateral Canal runs west of the village . The 43.1 km long Ise , which flows into the Aller in Gifhorn , flows on the northern outskirts.
To the northwest, the 834 extends ha large nature reserve swing beekeepers Moor and Lüder break .
The B 244 runs south of the village.
history
On March 1, 1974, Stöcken was incorporated into the city of Wittingen together with the former municipalities of Darrigsdorf , Erpensen , Gannerwinkel , Glüsingen , Kakerbeck , Lüben , Rade , Suderwittingen and Wollerstorf .
