The foundation stone of the St. Norbert Church was laid in 1913, and it was consecrated on June 21, 1914.

In 1999 the State Office for Monument Preservation added the church to the list of monuments. On June 20, 2004 the 90th anniversary of the church consecration was celebrated, but since 2006 the church has only been used rarely.
