history

Origin with Ulrich the Elder from Falkenstein

The line of those von Strein has died out in the male line. Their progenitor was Ulrich the Elder von Falkenstein (lived around 1115). The first descendants of Ulrich Strein von Falkenstein were Ulrich the Younger von Falkenstein (* 1115; † 1143) and Hartwig von Falkenstein (* 1118; †?), Who was married to Kunigunda (* 1118; †?). These first fathered Bernhard von Falkenstein (* 1140; † 1143), who in turn married Ulrich Streun von Falkenstein (* 1160; † 1210), the Helage (* 1178; †?), And later Albrecht Streun von Falkenstein (* 1160; †) 1178). Albrecht was again married to Bertrada , who remained widowed after his untimely death (1178).
