SwissHoldings is an association of industrial and service groups in Switzerland .

history

The association was founded in 1942 and is based in Bern .

The cross-industry professional association is committed to optimal framework conditions in Switzerland as the country where holding companies with foreign holdings are based. The main areas of activity are economic policy and business law, capital market and capital market law, financial reporting and national and international tax law.

The organization currently comprises 59 internationally oriented industrial and service groups based in Switzerland. These make up a large part of the market capitalization on the SIX Swiss Exchange ; according to the company, every third job in the private sector in Switzerland is offered by a member company of SwissHoldings.
