Synagogue (Bassemberg)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The synagogue in Bassemberg , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department of the historic Alsace region , was built in 1832. The synagogue was on rue principale (main street).

The synagogue was closed and sold around 1905 because the Bassemberg Jewish community had dissolved.

The synagogue building has been preserved as a residential building.
