Synagogue (Marmoutier)
The synagogue in Marmoutier , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region , was built in 1821/22. The secular synagogue is located at 11 rue de la Synagogue.
history
During the German occupation in World War II , the synagogue was looted and demolished.
The synagogue building, which was bought by the Marmoutier municipality in 1961, is now used for cultural events.
