Synagogue (Fegersheim)
The synagogue on rue du Général Leclerc in Fegersheim , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region , was built in 1809, enlarged in 1850 and rebuilt in 1894.
The synagogue was looted during the German occupation in World War II in 1940. It was later sold to a private person and demolished around 1974/75.
Two portal stones from the former synagogue are kept in the Elisa Foundation , a senior citizens' residence in Geispolsheim .
