TMK ( Russian ТМК Трубная Металлургическая Компания ) is the largest Russian steel pipe manufacturer with headquarters in Moscow . In 2016, 3.44 million t of seamless and welded steel pipes were produced for the oil and gas industry. The company is listed in the RTS Index .
TMK was founded in 2001. The European headquarters are in Düsseldorf . The management of TMK Europe GmbH in Düsseldorf consists of Josef Marous, Adrian Popescu and Sergey Gurev. TMK Europe GmbH is the majority shareholder of the Romanian companies TMK Artrom and TMK Resita.
In recent years, investments have been made in steel production. The pipe works Sewerski and TAGMET each received an electric arc furnace and systems for vacuum degassing . Sewerski also received a continuous casting plant and an "FQM" hot rolling mill . In 2014, TMK-INOX opened a plant for stainless steel pipes in Uralsk .
TMK also operates the pipe industry research center, RosNITI .
