Tate Ellington

James Tate Ellington (born April 17, 1979 in Madison , Mississippi ) is an American actor .

Life

Tate Ellington was born in 1979 to a married couple, Deborah and James Ellington, owners of a housing company . He studied at the University of Mississippi at Oxford . On May 19, 2012, he married Chrissy Fiorilli.

Ellington began his acting career in 2004 with a role in the short film Lower East Side . He had his first appearance in a television series in 2009 in an episode of the series The Unusuals . 2010 landed the role of Ellington Aidan Hall in the movie Remember Me - Live the Moment next to Robert Pattinson . Since then, various guest appearances have followed, including in Psych , Navy CIS: LA , The Walking Dead and Parenthood . In 2015, he had a recurring role on the third season of The Mindy Project series . In the Quantico serieshe embodied his first leading role with the role of Simon Asher . At the end of the first season, however, he left the series due to the plot. In 2016 he had a supporting role in the seventh season of the series Shameless .
