Teirio is an uninhabited island that belongs to the Abaiang Atoll in the Gilbert Islands in the Republic of Kiribati .

geography

Teirio is a motu in the southwest of the reef crown. In this area the motu are only very scattered on the top of the reef. While Manra , Eke and Ouba form their own small group of islands, Teirio is isolated. The next island to the south is Iku . Teirio is very narrow, but has a hotel complex.
