Thomas Jermaine Bryant (born July 31, 1997 in Rochester , New York ) is an American basketball player . Since 2018 he has been under contract with the Washington Wizards in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Career

On June 22, 2017, Bryant was selected in 42nd place in the NBA draft by the Utah Jazz . He was subsequently transferred to the Los Angeles Lakers along with the 30th pick of the draft, Josh Hart . On July 30, 2017, he signed his rookie contract with the Lakers. After that, however, he was mainly employed by the South Bay Lakers in the NBA G-League to collect match practice. For the 2018/19 season he was signed by the Washington Wizards . On December 22, 2018, Bryant managed to convert all of his 14 throws off the field in a game against the Phoenix Suns , an achievement that no player in the NBA had achieved since 1995 ( Gary Payton ).
