Thomas Storm

Thomas Storm (born 1749 in Hopewell , Dutchess County , Province of New York , † August 4, 1833 in New York City ) was an American politician . On March 23, 1771 he married Elizabeth Graham († 1832).

He represented Manhattan in the New York State Assembly , where he was elected speaker twice, 1802 and 1803 . Then he ran in 1807 for the office of lieutenant governor of New York with the future governor Morgan Lewis , but they both lost the election to Daniel D. Tompkins and John Broome .

After his death in 1833 he was buried in Trinity Church Cemetery .
