Tim Stegemann (actor)

Tim Stegemann (born October 16, 1975 in Leverkusen ) is a German actor and theater educator .

Life

Youth and education

Tim Stegemann first grew up in his native Leverkusen and then lived from 1980 to 1987 in Karachi in Pakistan and from 1987 to 1990 in Bogotá in Colombia . Afterwards he returned to Germany and settled in Cologne ; later he also lived temporarily in Frankfurt am Main . Stegemann graduated from high school in 1997 and did his community service from 1997 to 1998 . He then studied sport from 1998 to 1999 at the German Sport University in Cologne. In 1999 he moved to the University of Cologne , where he studied philosophy , general linguistics and German studies until 2004 . At the same graduated Stegemann 1999-2003 a drama training at the former theater college Siegburg (now acting school Siegburg ) in North Rhine-Westphalia Siegburg .

Acting engagements

From the beginning of his acting training and after completing it until 2005, Stegemann was a member of the ensemble of the school's private theater, the Siegburg studio theater . Since 2005 he has been part of the ensemble of the Willy Praml Theater in Frankfurt am Main, partly as a permanent member of the ensemble and partly as a guest actor. In addition, since 2010 he has been a member of the ensemble of the independent theater Landungsbrücken Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main. In 2012 he was also a member of the Immisitzung ensemble at the Cologne Carnival and since the same year has been part of the ensemble of the independent theater der Keller in Cologne.

As an actor, Stegemann could be seen in Woyzeck or the lack of alternatives after Georg Büchner's Woyzeck directed by Sarah Kortmann (2011; including an invitation to the 100 Grad Festival in Berlin ), in Dantons Tod von Büchner directed by Torge Kübler (2012; including invitation to the OpenOhr Festival 2012 in Mainz ), in the Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht under the direction of Katrin Herchenröther at the Westphalian State Theater in Castrop-Rauxel (2012) and in America based on Kafka's novel at the Cologne Theater der Keller under the direction of the local director Pia Maria Gehle (2012).

Theater education activity

In 2007, Stegemann undertook a theater pedagogical project with students in the field of performing arts as part of the “TuSch - Theater and School” program in cooperation with the city of Schwalbach am Taunus and the Albert Einstein High School there . From 2008 to 2009 Stegemann was involved in various "TuSch" projects in theater and school partnerships in Frankfurt am Main with final presentations at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and at the Willy Praml theater in their venue, the Frankfurt Naxoshalle . In 2009 he took part in the project “Jungs auf Kunst” - in cooperation with the social pedagogue Klaus Gösswein and the Frankfurt art institutions Schirn , Liebieghaus and Städel Museum  - and took on theater pedagogical supervision in the practical work with boys at the Caritas youth center Goldstein . In 2010 he had a teaching position in the field of performing games as an upper level course at the Albert Einstein High School in Schwalbach am Taunus. From 2010 to 2011 Stegemann was again involved in various Frankfurt "TuSch" projects in theater and school partnerships with final presentations at the school theater studio in Frankfurt and at the Willy Praml theater in the Naxoshalle.

2011 Stegemann took over the theater education with care of the "JobAct project ® to Connect" in Darmstadt , which by the by Sandra Schürmann based, nationwide active club Projektfabrik e. V. (meanwhile converted to a gGmbH , based in Witten ) and was carried out within the framework of the JobAct ® program initiated by Schürmann . Under the joint direction of him and Nikolas Hamm, the play Sisyphos reloaded was developed with and by a group of long-term unemployed . The play premiered in autumn 2011 and has been performed publicly several times. From 2012 to 2017, Stegemann was in charge of theater education and direction for various “JobAct ® ” projects at the Projektfabrik in Düsseldorf .

Tim Stegemann lives in Cologne.
