Tobias Kunz (born June 17, 1989 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German ice hockey player who has played in the first team of the EHC Freiburg since 2006 , but has already gone through all the youth departments there. He is currently the longest-serving player in the EHC Freiburg team and has never played for another club in his career - with the exception of two games as a promotional license player for the Frankfurt Lions .

Career

Kunz grew up in the youth of the EHC Freiburg and in the 2006/07 season was appointed to the squad of the first team that played in the ice hockey league for the first time . In his first season, he scored one goal and two assists in 25 games. In the following years he remained loyal to the wolves and did not change the club after the forced relegation of his wolves to the ice hockey regional league after the 2010/11 season . After a year in the regional league and three more in the major league, he was promoted to the second highest German division, the DEL2, with the EHCF in 2015 . He was able to achieve 81 points scorer in the promotion season and was the second best point collector of his team in the main round. In the years that followed, he was always a reliable scorer.

Kunz is now, after Ravil Khaidarov, with 541 games in different divisions, the player with the second most appearances for the first team of the EHC Freiburg. In addition to his career as an ice hockey player, Kunz also has a regular job.
