Torpan Pojat
Torpan Pojat (ToPo) is a Finnish basketball club from Helsinki .
The club was founded in 1932 as a sports club of a school in Munkkiniemi , a district of Helsinki. At the end of the 1950s, the first successes on a national level in basketball arose. After two runners-up in 1957 and 1959, ToPo was the first Finnish champion in basketball in 1960. Further triumphs followed in 1966, 1978 and three championships in the 1980s. From 1996 to 1998 the Torpan Pojat were national champions three times in a row and two cup winners.
The club plays its home games in Töölön kisahalli in the Helsinki district of Töölö . The hall was built for the 1952 Summer Olympics .
