Trabrennbahn Recklinghausen

The Trabrennbahn Recklinghausen was a facility in Hillerheide , Recklinghausen . It had a 1200 meter long racetrack and a 3200 meter long training track. It was closed in 2006 due to the operator's bankruptcy. After that, two more events took place, the last one in 2010.

In the summer of 2015, the Recklinghausen City Council decided on lead projects to improve the quality of life in Hillerheide, including a future concept for the former trotting track. The public participation phase followed in 2016.
