Neuss racecourse

The Neusser Rennbahn is a horse racing track east of downtown Neuss . It was built in 1875 and covers about 17 hectares. In 2008 the city decided to renovate the RennbahnParks and implemented it by 2009 in order to create more leisure opportunities. The fair of the Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest takes place every year on the area. Since 1998, the racecourse has also been the venue for the biennial Equitana Open Air .
