US Poker Open 2018

The 2018 US Poker Open was the first edition of this series of poker tournaments and was hosted by Poker Central . The eight high roller tournaments with buy-ins of at least US $ 10,000 were played from February 1 to 11, 2018 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas .

Aria Resort & Casino (2013)

Six of the eight tournaments were played in the No Limit Hold'em variant . There was also an event in Pot Limit Omaha and an 8-Game . Due to the high buy-in, only the world's best poker players and wealthy businessmen could be found at the tournaments. The first seven events were designed for two days, only the main event was three days. At each tournament, all players were allowed to re-enter. All events were broadcast on the paid platforms NBC Sports and PokerGO . Ali Nejad and Jeremy Ausmus commented on the event for PokerGO .

Tournaments

Overview

The tournament fee did not have to be paid if you had made a purchase at the start of the tournament or if you had missed the punctual registration by reaching the final day in the direct preliminary tournament. No tournament was played on February 4, 2018, as Super Bowl LII was played on that day .

Stephen Chidwick (2014)

At the US Poker Open, the player who collects the most prize money over the eight tournaments receives the “US Poker Open Championship trophy”. Winner Stephen Chidwick won two tournaments and cashed five times for more than $ 1.2 million in prize money.
