Ueterlande ( Low German Üterlann ) is a village in the Loxstedt unified community in the Lower Saxony district of Cuxhaven .

geography

Ueterlande, in the southwest of Bremerhaven , is south of the Luneplate and on the Old Weser . The national road 121 connects Ueterlande with the neighboring towns Overwarfe and Lanhausen . The village lies within the district land Would .

history

In addition to the core town, Ueterlande also consists of the districts "Ueterlander Siel" and "Auf der Jührde".

Until it was incorporated into Loxstedt on March 1, 1974, Ueterlande belonged to the municipality of Landwürden in the Wesermarsch district .

Together with Overwarfe, Ueterlande has a community center and a volunteer fire brigade .

Local public transport within the Bremen-Lower Saxony transport association (VBN) is geared towards the Bremerhaven regional center and is supplemented by a collective call taxi.
