coat of arms
The design of the municipal coat of arms of Holte comes from the heraldist and coat of arms painter Albert de Badrihaye , who designed around 80 coats of arms in the district of Cuxhaven.
Blazon : "In silver a red courtyard gate , in the entrance of which a black nail floats with the point down." | |
Justification of the coat of arms: The courtyard gate is reminiscent of the "Gut Nolte". The nail is borrowed from the coat of arms of the noble family “Nagel”, to which the estate belonged in the 14th century. |
