Undergreen

Houses in Untergettengrün

The approximately 260 hectares large scattered settlement in block and parcels hall was in 1295 as in villa Gettengrune first mentioned. The name is derived from indagädn'gri , in German clearing settlement of a ghetto . The settlement is mentioned in 1459 as a desert , in 1467 again as an inhabited place ( villa ) and as early as 1485 until at least 1542 again referred to as desert. Then the name / spelling changes from Gettenholz via Gettengrun and Göttengrün to the Untergettengrün used today from 1816. Untergettengrün belonged to the Voigtsberg office from 1791 and to the Oelsnitz administration from 1875 .

Obergettengrün

The approximately 43 hectare large scattered settlement in Plot Flur was first mentioned in 1479 as Gettengrun above the Wustenunge and was probably created in connection with the reconstruction of Untergettengrüns. From 1791 Obergettengrün belonged to the Voigtsberg office , and later to the Oelsnitz administration .
