Unterklingen is a part of the market Weiltingen in the Central Franconian district of Ansbach .

geography

The wasteland consists of three residential buildings and a dozen outbuildings. It is located with Oberklingen , Bosacker and Hahnenberg in a forest clearing. In the north lies the Hundsmarkt forest area, in the east Hahnenschlag, in the south Klingenspitz and in the west the Weiltinger forest. There the Greiselbacher Berg and the Rote Berg ( 524  m above sea level ) rise . A nameless stream flows eastwards as a left tributary into the Weihergraben , which in turn is a right tributary of the Wörnitz .

A community connecting road leads to Oberklingen (0.3 km southeast) or to a community connecting road (0.4 km northeast) that leads to Bosacker (0.7 km southeast) and Hahnenberg (0.2 km north).

history

The Fraisch over Unterklingen was controversial. It was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen and the Oberamt Aufkirchen in Oettingen-Spielberg . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 3 Köbler estates and 1 community shepherd's house in Unterklingen . The village and township government and lordship over all the property had the Württemberg Oberamt Weiltingen held.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Unterklingen was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Veitsweiler . On May 1, 1978, Unterklingen was incorporated into Weiltingen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
