Verena Plangger

Verena Plangger (born June 27, 1952 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is an Italian actress and director .

Life

Verena Plangger first showed her acting talent on amateur stages and after graduating from high school, she trained as an actor at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . Between 1975 and 1980 she had theater engagements at the Wuppertal theaters , the Schauspielhaus in Bochum and the Freiburg theater . During this time she shot the two-part television play Britta under the director Berengar Pfahl , which made her known nationwide.

From 1980 Plangger was on the move in Germany with independent theater productions, made several television films and worked as a director and playwright. In 1990 she got a permanent engagement at the Staatstheater Kassel , which lasted until 1997. Between 1992 and 1999 she was involved in three cinema productions. In 2004 she played solo pieces at the Stadttheater Konstanz . In summer 2005 she was a visiting professor at the Bauhaus University in Weimar .

She gives private acting lessons and prepares for upcoming auditions . She has been offering corporate theater since October 2010 .
