Vicco Karl Hans Heinrich Georg Ulrich von der Lühe (born January 3, 1863 in Schwerin , † January 2, 1952 in Wotersen ) was a Prussian major general .

Life

origin

Vicco came from the Mecklenburg nobility family von der Lühe . He was the son of the Mecklenburg Drost a. D. Gustav Ulrich Ludwig von der Lühe (born January 18, 1803 in God's gift ; † June 5, 1863 in Schwerin) and his wife Auguste, born von Bülow (born January 8, 1821 in Schwerin; † January 1, 1907 there).

Military career

Lühe was educated in the cadet corps and on April 17, 1880, transferred to the 2nd Hanseatic Infantry Regiment No. 76 as a charged portepeef ensign. On November 16, 1880 he received the patent for his rank. With a patent from September 16, he was promoted to second lieutenant on October 18, 1881 . From April 14, 1888 to May 9, 1889, he was assigned to the Infantry Training Battalion and then worked as a regimental adjutant until April 30, 1894 . Shortly after taking up his position as regimental adjutant, he was promoted to prime lieutenant.

While being promoted to captain , Lühe was transferred to the Fusilier Regiment "Queen" (Schleswig-Holstein) No. 86 in Flensburg on September 12, 1895 , and was subsequently used as a company commander . As such, he was commanded from April 29 to June 2, 1897 in Spandau to the infantry shooting school . On May 24, 1898, he was transferred to the Queen Elisabeth Guard Grenadier Regiment No. 3 in Berlin . As a major , from March 20, 1906, he was in command of the 2nd Battalion of the 4th Guards Regiment, also stationed in Berlin . When he was promoted to lieutenant colonel , Lühe was transferred to Mannheim on January 27, 1911, to the staff of the 2nd Baden Grenadier Regiment "Kaiser Wilhelm I." No. 110 . As a colonel , he was given the statutory pension and the right to wear the uniform of the 4th Guards Regiment on foot in 1913 .

During the First World War , Lühe was appointed major general z. D. reused by the staff of the 1st inspection of the immobile Guards infantry.

Lühe was a legal knight of the Order of St. John .

Lühe had married Alice Henriette, sixth child of the rentier Carl Georg Nölting and sister of the wife of the Lübeck Senator Julius Vermehren and widowed von Rège (born March 4, 1868 in Lübeck; † April 19, 1947 in Wotersen). She brought the daughter Harriet Isabel Anneliese Carmen (born August 1, 1903 in Hamburg; † June 18, 1984 in Lübeck) with her from her previous marriage. She married the officer Martin Wandel on October 17, 1925 in Berlin (born April 15, 1892 in Berlin; † January 14, 1943 Chilino / Russia ). The marriage resulted in a daughter, Marion.
