The evil sorceress Glenda wants to use this weak point and tries to drive a wedge between the girls in order to win the power of the magical compass rose for herself. reception

Oliver Kube found on Filmstarts.de that the film exuded positive energy and sympathetic enthusiasm. In addition, the message of the film is commendable and the songs have catchy tunes. Nevertheless, the fantasy family comedy is staged and played far too bumpy over long stretches to be remembered for longer. Unfortunately, the acting performances are also not entirely satisfactory. Again and again, the four young leading actresses in particular, as well as Doris Schretzmayer and Gregor Bloéb, who acted as their parents, come across as very stiff and awkward.

Diemuth Schmidt wrote in the Weser Kurier that Four Magical Sisters was "a film with humor, bizarre characters and just a lot of girl power". The message of the film that you can achieve more if you stick together is not new, but always worth telling. Director Sven Unterwaldt consistently used the magic shown for entertainment and made his audience astonished and laugh.
