history
Viking Airlines was founded in 2003 and started operations on May 5, 2003 with two McDonnell Douglas MD-83s . Having already since October 2010, under bankruptcy protection stood and flight operations had stopped, it was the spring of 2011 final for insolvent explained.
Destinations
Most recently Viking Airlines operated bases in Athens , Glasgow , Heraklion , Manchester , Stockholm and Gatwick and mainly offered flights from Great Britain and Sweden to the Mediterranean region .
