Nordic Airways was a Swedish airline based in Stockholm .
Companies
Nordic Airways was founded as Nordic Regional for scheduled flights and Nordic Leisure for charter flights . At the turn of the year 2005 it was renamed Nordic Airways. Until the liquidation, however, the flight continued under the brand name Nordic Leisure.
The airline's bases were Stockholm , Palma de Mallorca , Helsinki and Gatwick . In the 2007 summer flight schedule, two planes were in use for Germanwings and were stationed at Cologne / Bonn Airport during this time .
The processing for German passengers was organized by the Cologne-based GAS - German Aviation Service GmbH . The flight operation was coordinated from Palma de Mallorca during the summer season, where Nordic Airways also had a branch.
On January 24, 2009 the flight license was revoked due to ongoing financial problems. Shortly afterwards, the airline had to file for bankruptcy. Your successor company is Air Sweden .
