Tor-Air was a Swedish charter airline based in Gothenburg .
history
Tor Air was founded in 2008 and received its Air Operator Certificate on December 1st, 2008 . In the beginning, the company mainly carried out wet leases and charter operations with a Boeing 737-400 , among others for Norwegian , TAP Air Portugal , Cimber Sterling and Iraqi Airways . In 2011 several planes were rented to fly from London-Gatwick and Manchester to different destinations in Greece, Bulgaria, Portugal and Egypt.
On December 22, 2011, Tor Air had to cease operations.
