Vortex Jazz Club
The Vortex Jazz Club (also Vortex Dalston ) is a jazz and improvisational music venue in London .
The Vortex venue is located in Dalston, a district in the London Borough of Hackney , northeast of central London (1 Gillett Square, N16 8JH) and was founded in 1990 by John Russell and Chris Burn, initially in Stoke Newington . In addition to music events, Vortex is a venue for poetry / spoken word, dance, film and art performances.
