Wachgeküsst - Live from the Parktheater Augsburg is the first live album or the second video album by the German hit band Wolkenfrei .
Creation and artwork
All tracks on the album were written by external authors. Most of the titles were written together by the authors Olaf Roberto Bossi , Felix Gauder, Oliver Lukas, Alexandra Kuhn and Oli Nova. All tracks were mixed, arranged and produced (in the original) by Felix Gauder. The album was released under the Ariola music label and distributed through Sony Music Entertainment . The live recordings were made at a concert in the Parktheater Göggingen in Augsburg on July 7, 2015. This was the debut concert of Wolkenfrei, and for the first time they gave an official independent concert. 300 selected guests were on site. On the cover of the album - next to the artist name and song title - May can be seen during the concert. The cover picture was shot by German photographer Michael Malfer.
Publication and promotion
The first release of Wachgeküsst - Live from the Parktheater Augsburg took place on October 9, 2015 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The album is available as CD and download, as well as a video album in Blu-ray Disc and DVD formats. The regular album consists of 18 tracks and includes live versions of songs from the last two studio albums. The Premium Edition includes an additional DVD with three videos. There was no single release from this album.
One day after the album was released, the first live appearance in prime time followed after the album was released. In the ARD show 150 years of Schlager - the big celebration for the anniversary of Florian Silbereisen , they presented their single Wachgeküsst .

All lyrics are written in German, especially the piece South Sea Wind on the skin contains the English line "Forever You" (Forever you). Musically, the songs move in the area of pop hits . The album consists of 17 already published pieces and includes all studio recordings from the previous studio album Wachgeküsst and the titles Jeans T-Shirt and Freedom and You Are My Island from the debut album Endlos in love . The intro was recorded again for this album or the concert.

Kissed awake - Live from the Parktheater Augsburg reached position seven in the music DVD charts in Austria and stayed in the charts for a total of two weeks. In Switzerland, the video album reached position ten in the music DVD charts in one week. For Wolkenfrei this is the first chart success in the Austrian and Swiss music DVD charts.
