The constituency of Annaberg I was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 68.

The constituency comprised large parts of the Annaberg district : Annaberg-Buchholz , Arnsfeld , Bärenstein , Cranzahl , Crottendorf , Cunersdorf , Dörfel , Elterlein , Frohnau , Geyersdorf , Grumbach , Hammerunterwiesenthal , Hermannsdorf , Jöhstadt , Königswalde , Mildenau , Neudorf , Oberscheibe , Oberwiesenthal , Scheibenberg , Schlettau , Schmalzgrube , Schwarzbach , Sehma , Steinbach and Walthersdorf .

For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of ​​the constituency Annaberg I became part of the constituency Annaberg .
