The constituency of Koblenz / Lahnstein (constituency 8) is a state electoral district in Rhineland-Palatinate . Its area includes part of the Rhein-Lahn district with the city of Lahnstein and the municipalities of Bad Ems , Braubach and Loreley, as well as the area of the city of Koblenz on the right bank of the Rhine . Koblenz on the left bank of the Rhine forms its own constituency .
The constituency has always been won by the SPD since 1991. The first winner of the direct mandate was Rudolf Scharping , since then it has always been Roger Lewentz .
