The constituency of Reichenbach was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 76. For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was also changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the Reichenbach constituency became part of the Göltzschtal 1 constituency with the exception of two communities that were still independent at the time . The communities Coschütz and Kleingera were incorporated into Elsterberg until the state elections in 1994 and thus became part of the Elstertal constituency .
