Wanda Brauniger
Wanda Therese Bräuniger , sometimes referred to as Wanda Bräuninger , (* 1899 ; † unknown) was a German puppeteer , actress , radio play and voice actress .
Life
From 1946 Wanda Bräuniger worked together with Magda Hain for several years as a puppeteer and actress at Mia Möller's "Berliner Künstler-Puppenspiele" . The Berliner Bühnen later remained the center of her artistic creation, especially as an actress in spoken theater. Despite early appearances in silent films, she rarely accepted film and television roles. She was, for example, in Kurt Maetzig DEFA production castles and cottages and Raoul Wolfgang Schnell teleplay La Felicità ... to see.
In addition, she worked extensively as a spokesperson for radio and radio plays such as Rudolf Noelte's Fontane adaptation Effi Briest in 1974 for the SFB with Cordula Trantow in the title role. As a voice actress, she voiced Miriam Byrd-Nethery in The Hair-raising Journey on a Crazy Bus , Gwen Nelson in The Reckoning and Jessie Robins in London .
