Gustl Halenke

Gustl Halenke (* 1930 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Halenke began her theater career with Gustaf Gründgens in Düsseldorf . Other theater stations were Schleswig , Saarbrücken , Baden-Baden and the Stuttgart State Theater .

In the 1960s she appeared at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich , where she appeared under the directors Helmut Henrichs and Kurt Meisel . She was often seen at the Schlosspark Theater and the Schillertheater in Berlin . She was also a busy radio play speaker .

At the Münchner Kammerspiele she appeared in 1977 as a businessman in Eugene O'Neill's Fast a Poet and in 1980 as a friend in Ernst Jandl's Aus der Fremde . 1985/86 she played at the Freie Volksbühne Berlin , directed by Hans Neuenfels the Brigid in Joyce -Stück exiles and Duchess in Frank Wedekind Franziska .

Gustl Halenke was married to actor Thomas Holtzmann from 1956 until his death in 2013 , with whom she performed together on stage in 1990 in the Werkraum of the Münchner Kammerspiele in Gurney's Love Letters directed by Helmut Griem .
