The World Grand Prix was a major tournament in darts and was organized for the seventh time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from October 18 to 24, 2004 . The venue was the Citywest Hotel in Dublin for the fourth time .
The defending champion was Phil Taylor . The winner was Colin Lloyd , who won the tournament for the first time.
