The World Grand Prix was a major tournament in darts and was organized for the sixth time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from October 20th to 26th, 2003 . For the third time, the venue was the Citywest Hotel in Dublin .
The defending champion was Phil Taylor , who was able to win the tournament again for the fifth time.
format
The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode in the 1st round was a best of 3 sets . In the final a best of 13 sets . Each leg was played in 501 double-in-double-out mode.
