Yan Valery (born February 22, 1999 in Champigny-sur-Marne ) is a French-Tunisian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Southampton FC in the Premier League .

Career

society

Valery joined Southampton FC from Stade Rennes in 2015. On November 27, 2018, he made his professional debut for Southampton in a Carabao Cup game against Leicester City . He made his league debut four days later, playing the entire game in a 2-2 draw with Manchester United . In February 2019, he scored his first league goal in a 3-2 away defeat to Manchester United.

National team

Valery has played for the U17 and U18 selections of France. In January 2019, he met with Tunisian coach Alain Giresse and agreed to play for the Tunisian national football team .
