Ziegelhütte is a district of the town of Schillingsfürst in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet lies over one and a half kilometers east of the town center of Schillingsfürst on the ridge that slopes slightly to the east and begins in the west on the spur of the Schillingsfürst castle. In the north and south, forests frame its corridor; the hillside forest in the north drains via an upper course of the Hagenbach to the Altmühl . East of the hamlet is the Erlbacher Mühlbach , which also drains via the Altmühl, to the southwest of the hamlet the Sulzach , which drains via the Wörnitz to the Danube.

A community road leads to Schorndorf (1.3 km east) or the state road 2246 crossing from there as the district road AN 5 to Schillingsfürst (1.3 km west).

history

In 1804 there were six subject families in the village. Agriculture and cattle breeding were considered excellent at that time.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Ziegelhütte was assigned to the tax district and the municipal community of Schillingsfürst.
