Atajate is a village and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is the smallest village in the province of Malaga. The municipality is situated approximately 15 kilometres from Ronda and 141 from the city of Málaga. It has a population of approximately 154 residents. The locals are colloquially known as Atajateños.
