Alhaurín el Grande is a town with 24,705 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the province of Málaga in Andalusia . The city is located in the Valle del Guadalhorce about 30 kilometers west of Málaga and 567 kilometers south of Madrid . The banks of the Río Fahala and a golf course offer relaxation . Districts are El Bajondillo, San Isidro, La Fama y la Paca and Pedanía de Villafranco del Guadalhorce. Characterized by a hot climate, a lot of nature and the Andalusian village structure, the city has retained its historical appearance.

Description: On the gold-beaked, red-tongued and gold-edged, red-reinforced black double-headed eagle , the shield of Castile-Leon , covered with a red-bordered blue oval shield with three (2; 1) golden lilies , rests on the chest and this is surrounded by the Order of the Golden Fleece . A golden crown hovers over the eagle.
