Strašnov is a municipality and village in Mladá Boleslav District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.
History
The name Strašnov was derived from the old personal Czech name Strah or Straš.[2]
Geography
Strašnov is located about 7 km (4 mi) south of Mladá Boleslav and 36 km (22 mi) northeast of Prague. It lies in a flat landscape of the the Jizera Table.
