Neveklovice (German: Neweklowitz ) is a municipality in Okres Mladá Boleslav , Czech Republic . With only 45 inhabitants, it is one of the smallest communities in the okres.
geography
The place lies on a hill between the valleys of the Zábrdka (Kleiniserbach) and the Malá Mohelka (Small Mohelka). The road from Klášter Hradiště nad Jizerou to Osečná runs over the elongated ridge . Neighboring towns are Mukařov in the west, Jivina and Mohelnice nad Jizerou in the south, Chocnějovice in the east and Strážiště in the north.
history
In the Middle Ages, Neveklovice belonged to the Mukařov parish, the settlements of which were established by the Cistercian monks of the Hradiště monastery late in the 12th century . The place name itself is first handed down in 1400. In modern times, the village was part of the Jivina municipality. It has been independent since 1920.
The 2001 census identified Neveklovice as a purely residential and recreational area. 100% of the resident working population worked outside the community. Over 60% of all residential buildings were used as seasonally inhabited holiday homes.
