Rabakov is a small municipality in Okres Mladá Boleslav , Czech Republic . It is 14 kilometers east of Mladá Boleslav on the border of two regions, the Středočeský and the Královéhradecký kraj . In 2006 there were 47 residents here. Rabakov belongs to the outskirts of the Bohemian Paradise Tourist Region .
geography
Rabakov has good transport links. The village is located on the 279 road between Domousnice and Ujkovice and is also connected to the local railway No. 63 from Bakov nad Jizerou to Kopidlno . The municipal area includes 85 hectares of arable land, 67 hectares of forest and a 2 hectare fish pond.
history
The oldest written version of the place name dates back to 1445. In neighboring Domousnice, a small aristocratic manor was established in the late Middle Ages, to which Rabakov also belonged. The place is mentioned in 1573 as part of this rule.
From 1974 to 1992 Rabakov was incorporated into Domousnice. The community has been independent again since 1992.
Attractions
A local collector has been looking after a private motorcycle museum in Rabakov since 1964, which is now known nationwide. The exhibition includes around 45 historic street and racing machines. The basis is the complete series of the Jawa brand (1929 to 1999), including the oldest Jawa 500 OHW from 1929. The oldest exhibit is a three-seater Čechie Böhmerland 600 tourist from 1927. All machines on display have been restored and run.
