Ptýrov (German: Pteirow ) is a municipality with 177 inhabitants in Okres Mladá Boleslav , Czech Republic .
geography
The municipality consists of four villages located five kilometers from the town of Mnichovo Hradiště on the western bank of the Jizera . Neighboring towns are Mnichovo Hradiště, Klášter Hradiště nad Jizerou , Bakov nad Jizerou and Nová Ves u Bakova . The western border is formed by the protected forest area Klokočka . history
The villages Ptýrov, Ptýrovec and Maníkovice were first mentioned in 1345. In that year the Hradiště monastery ceded five villages to the lords of Zvířetice . The rights transferred were initially limited to the exercise of jurisdiction and the usufruct of taxes and compulsory labor. After the destruction of the monastery in 1420, ownership of the land also passed to secular rule. In 1605 there were a total of 26 full farms in the three places, Čihátka is mentioned as a village with five houses.
Since the beginning of the 17th century Ptýrov was the seat of one of the ten lower courts belonging to the Mnichovo Hradiště rule . The district remained as an administrative unit until the villages were incorporated into Klášter Hradiště in 1980. Since 1989 the four villages have again formed an independent municipality.
