action
The publishing employee Thea Clayhill invents a pregnancy to avoid a threatened dismissal. Due to her new "competence" she is promoted and is now supposed to publish pregnancy guides. As a result, she becomes more and more entangled in her lie and falls in love with her new boss, Nick. At a book presentation there is a tussle in which the balloon Thea used as a dummy baby bump bursts. Nick is lured to a TV show where the book is presented again. This time Thea is in public without a baby bump. There Thea and Nick reconcile, because after the vertigo was discovered, there was radio silence between the two. Then the two are shown two years later. This time Thea is really heavily pregnant, from Nick. You are at work when you go into labor. In the last scene the two tell each other that they love each other.
