Çukurtepe (kurd. Hünyan or Hunya ) is a village in Karlıova County in the Turkish province of Bingöl . Çukurtepe is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,980 m above sea level, about 24 km north of Karlıova.

The original name is Hünyan. This is registered with the land registry and was used as an alternative name in the censuses of 1965 and 1980, for example.

In 1985 548 people lived in Çukurtepe. In 2009 the village had 773 inhabitants.

The village has a primary school and is connected to the drinking water supply. There is no sewerage system.
