Sakaören (kurd. Şakaveran ) is a village in Karlıova County in the Turkish province of Bingöl . Sakaören is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,820 m above sea level, approx. 9 km east of Karlıova.

The name Şakaveran is registered with the land registry office as the original name of the settlement.

In 1985 there were 425 people in Sakaören. In 2009 the village had 659 inhabitants.
